The 1st Linton Scout Group was formed in 1937 as
part of the Granta District.
Our group consists of Beavers, Cubs and Scouts,
and takes young people from Linton and the
surrounding villages.

bridge by the
'Dog and
Duck'.
Sponsor a Duck for £1 and win £50
As it is an Olympic Games year our ducks are fitter than ever
and are preparing to fly off to Bejing. (We have not told them that
the only paddling events involve canoes) Please help them get over
their disappointment by sponsoring them in our local 100 metre sprint
down the River Granta.
There will be prizes of gift vouchers for the sponsors of the winning Ducks
- 1st £50, 2nd £25, 3rd £15 and £10 each for
4th, 5th & 6th places.

| Summer Camps - July 2008 |

The Cubs are planning to go camping on the first weekend of the Summer Holidays,
and the Scouts are going to go for a week from July 26th through to 2nd August.
The Scouts are going to Tolmers Scout Centre in Cuffley near Cheshunt, where
they will be participating in 4 activities each day, there will also be a surprise
day outing, with evening activities planned as well.

ABSEILING ARCHERY CANOEING CLIMBING CRAFTS HIKING RIFLES QUAD BIKES SAILING AND MANY MORE |
